This week Fairchild used a cross campus initiative to improve the projects we are working on. My Capstone 2 Class was paired up with a gym/health class. They were working developing a new game in gym class for their peers to try. I think this activity was helpful to me because for the first time i was presenting in front of people I did not know and who were not familiar with my project. This allowed me to gauge how a more realistic audience may react to my Tuning Protocol. My peers seemed interested and inspired by my project. The suggested that I expand upon the terminology used in my project to better inform others of the purpose, goals, and eventually the outcomes. I did not have any visual aids such as a poster or power point so I was had to use my words to help them visualize what I was talking about. I also had to be a dynamic presenter in order to keep them all engaged. This made me more confident in my presentation skills.
