This week our class focused on creating our presentations. The rubric Mrs.Veilette gave us helped me a lot to start the outline for the powerpoint. I was able to refer to my powerpoint from Capstone 1 and proposal and read through each section. I simplified and summarized the major points. The powerpoint included three peer reviewed article summaries and applications, my problem statement, short term and long term goals, problems, and references. I think the information I did end up putting on my slide was well written and short enough that the audience wouldn't pay too much attention to it. However, I think my actual presentation could have gone a lot better. I am able to freely speak about my project however I often struggle to put the right words together to explain the details to someone who is not familiar with the project. I think with practice I will get better at moving through my points smoothly while also covering all the bases. I hope that by the end of Capstone 2 I will be able to confidently present every piece of my project with little to no aid. (see sample slide)
