Problem Statement

Bacterial resistance began around the world when antibacterials became common practice during the turn of the 20th century. As antibiotics become more and more powerless in the fight against mutating bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, sanitary environments like hospitals become increasingly more dangerous for patients. Every year 2 million people in the United States alone become infected with bacteria strains that are resistant to current medications (CDC, 2016). The recent explosion of nanotechnology paves the way for physical prevention of bacterial adherence to prevent biofilm formation. The following study will be conducted in an attempt to narrow down the best naturally occurring antibacterial topography.

Literature Review
Potential Impacts

The literature review compiles information relevant to the study that was conducted. These articles are taken from accredited scientific journals and other online sources. Information was collected from various fields including marine biology, biology, nanotechnology, and microbiology.

Potential Impacts
Procedure & Methodology

This is a description of how this project can impact various communities and industries. All of these proposed impacts have been synthesized from previous studies and data collection relevant to the topic.

Annotated Bibliography
Procedure and Methodology

These are the materials and methods I use to conduct this experiment. The methodology is the explanation of why these strategies were use based on research and methods from credible studies.

Annotated Bibliography

These are the sources I used to develop my proposal and expand on for the final study. All of these articles are from accredited institutions in the field of nanotechnology, biology, botany, marine biology, or microbiology.

Conclusions and Recommendations
Conclusions & Recommendations

This section draws conclusions from multiple data collections and their analysis. It also describes how the featured study can be approved upon and continued. The scientific community is currently and likely will continue work with nanotechnology and bio mimicry for years to come.
